"Is it FCC compliant?" is one of the first questions a serious robotics buyer asks, and it is usually answered badly. Vendors say yes. Buyers accept it. Nobody looks it up.
You can look it up. The FCC publishes its equipment authorization database at apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas, it is free, and it takes about ninety seconds. Here is what is actually in there for AgiBot, and what it does and does not mean.

Grantee code 2BTPT is registered to AgiBot Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. Verify any of these directly at apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas by searching the grantee code.
Why the 28 July 2026 Date Matters
On 28 July 2026 the FCC's rule change affecting equipment from entities on the Covered List took effect. The practical consequence for buyers is that a grant issued before that date and a grant issued after it are not in the same position, and "the manufacturer says it is certified" is no longer a sufficient answer.
Every AgiBot grant listed above predates the rule change. That is a meaningful fact and it is checkable, which is the point: you should not take our word for it, and you should not take the manufacturer's word for it either.
What FCC Authorization Does Not Tell You
This is where most procurement conversations go wrong.
FCC equipment authorization is a radio-emissions question. It says the device's radios have been tested and authorized to operate in the United States. That is all it says.
NDAA procurement eligibility is a completely different regime. It governs whether a federal agency, or an organization spending federal funds, is permitted to buy a given piece of equipment based on its country of origin and supply chain. A device can hold a valid FCC grant and still be ineligible for federal purchase.
If you are buying with federal money, or if your grant conditions or state procurement rules reference country-of-origin restrictions, the FCC database will not answer your question. Ask your procurement office before you spec any robot, from any manufacturer.
The same distinction applies across the drone and robotics market generally. It is worth knowing which questions your compliance requirement is actually asking.
The Models We Will Not Claim Are Authorized
Being straight about this is more useful than a blanket yes.
Several AgiBot models, including the D1 MaxPro, A3, A3 Ultra and G2, do not carry an AgiBot host certification in the database. Where a product relies on a Supplier's Declaration of Conformity rather than a certification, US law requires a responsible party located in the United States, and if that party is not the manufacturer's US entity it defaults to the importer. That is a legal determination, not a paperwork step, and we do not treat it as settled until it is settled in writing.
We also found two models blank in the manufacturer's own compliance sheet. Blank is not the same as compliant.

How to Check This Yourself
- Go to apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas and open the Grantee Code search.
- Enter the grantee code, which is the first three to five characters of the FCC ID. For AgiBot that is 2BTPT.
- Set the number of records to display high, then search on the grantee code alone.
- Read the grant date and the equipment class on each result.
One practical tip: searching by product code alone frequently returns "no applications on file" for grants that demonstrably exist. Search the grantee code and scan the list instead. We learned that the hard way.

Is the AgiBot D1 FCC certified?
The D1 Pro, D1 Edu and D1 Ultra share FCC ID 2BTPT-ZYCXD105U. The D1 Max holds 2BTPT-ZYCXD125M. All predate the 28 July 2026 rule change.
Does an FCC grant mean a robot is NDAA compliant?
No. They are separate regimes. FCC authorization covers radio emissions. NDAA eligibility covers federal procurement based on country of origin and supply chain. Confirm procurement eligibility separately with your own procurement office.
Do dexterous hands and grippers need an FCC ID?
The OmniHand and OmniPicker communicate over wired CAN-FD and RS485 rather than wireless links. Confirm the requirement for your specific configuration before deployment on a site with radio restrictions.
Can an FCC grant be revoked?
Yes. Equipment authorization is not permanent, and the database is the live record. Re-check before a large purchase rather than relying on a vendor page, including this one.
