Torque where a humanoid needs it.

Peak leg joint torque is 360 N·m (265 lb-ft) and peak arm joint torque is 120 N·m (88.5 lb-ft). That is what lets a 70 kg (154 lb) machine catch itself, change direction and hold a loaded arm position instead of sagging out of the pose.

Human scale, in human spaces.

At 1,820 x 456 x 218 mm (71.7 x 18.0 x 8.6 in) the H2 reaches what a person reaches and fits where a person fits, through a standard doorway, along a corridor, up to a workbench. Unitree does not publish a maximum walking speed for the H2, so we do not quote one.

It sees the room and hears you in it.

A humanoid binocular camera with a wide field of view handles vision, and an array microphone plus a high-power speaker handle voice both ways. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are built in. Keep at least 2 m (6.6 ft) of clearance around it while it is moving, which is Unitree's own instruction, not ours.

  • It powers on and off suspended from its wheeled protective stand, so plan floor space for the stand and the packaging case.

Compare the Unitree Humanoids

The H2 and H2 Edu share one chassis. What changes is whether you can write code for it. The G1 Edu Standard is the smaller, cheaper research platform when full human scale is not the point.

FAQs

Is the Unitree H2 authorized for use in the US?

Yes. It is covered by Unitree's US equipment authorization under grantee YuShu Technology Co., Ltd., FCC ID 2A5PE-YUSHU012, verifiable at apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas. FCC equipment authorization is separate from NDAA procurement eligibility, so if you are buying under a federal procurement rule, check that separately with us first.

How long does it run on a charge?

About 3 hours on the 15 Ah (0.972 kWh) quick-release smart battery. The pack comes out without tools, so programs running a full day usually buy a spare.

How is the H2 different from the H2 Edu?

Mechanically they are the same robot: 1.82 m (71.7 in), about 70 kg (154 lb), 31 degrees of freedom, the same 360 N·m (265 lb-ft) leg joints. The Edu adds secondary development, a second onboard PC with an Intel Core i7, dexterous hand support and an optional high-power computing module. If your team is not writing its own control code, the standard H2 is the right buy.

How much can the arms carry?

Unitree rates the arm at about 7 kg (15.4 lb) with a peak of about 15 kg (33 lb), and says the figure varies with arm extension. Treat the rated number as the planning figure, not the peak.

Can I run it outdoors?

Only in dry conditions and within 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F). The H2 is neither waterproof nor dustproof, and Unitree tells operators to avoid wet, dusty or low-friction ground. We will tell you when a job is outside what this machine should be doing.
