The DJI Zenmuse S1 is a high-intensity spotlight payload for the Matrice 400 RTK, Matrice 350 RTK, and Matrice 300 RTK. Using laser excited phosphor (LEP) technology, it delivers 40 lux at 100 meters on the M400 -- far exceeding conventional LED spotlight payloads at the same distance. A detachable DJI SKYPORT mount makes it fast to attach and swap alongside cameras or speakers in multi-payload configurations.
The S1 mounts on a 3-axis stabilized gimbal with tilt from -120° to +60° and ±320° pan range, keeping the beam precisely on target regardless of aircraft pitch or heading. Three operating modes -- Low Beam (15° wide), High Beam (4° spot), and Both On -- let operators switch between area coverage and long-range penetration mid-mission. A 5 Hz strobe mode supports attention-signaling for SAR teams. IP54 protection keeps the unit operational in rain, dust, and temperatures as low as -20°C.
