Good to Know
For operators 18 and up. The H2 Edu powers on and off while suspended from its included wheeled protective stand, and Unitree asks operators to keep at least 2 m (6.6 ft) of clearance from people and obstacles while it moves. It is an indoor, dry-conditions machine, rated 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F) and neither waterproof nor dustproof. The 15 Ah battery gives roughly 3 hours, so add spare packs for longer sessions.

Is the Unitree H2 Edu authorized for use in the US?
Yes. It is covered by Unitree's US equipment authorization under grantee YuShu Technology Co., Ltd., FCC ID 2A5PE-YUSHU012, verifiable at apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas. FCC equipment authorization is separate from NDAA procurement eligibility, so if you are buying under a federal procurement rule, check that separately with us first.
How long does it run on a charge?
About 3 hours on the 15 Ah (0.972 kWh) quick-release smart battery. The pack comes out without tools, so most research programs buy at least one spare.
How is the H2 Edu different from the standard H2?
Mechanically they are identical: 1.82 m (71.7 in), about 70 kg (154 lb), 31 degrees of freedom, the same 360 N·m (265 lb-ft) leg joints. The Edu adds secondary development, a second onboard PC with an Intel Core i7, dexterous hand support and an optional high-power computing module. If nobody on the team is writing control code, buy the standard H2 and keep the difference.
