It sees all the way around itself.
3.5 m/s (7.8 mph) over ground that stops wheels.
The robot dog that made robot dogs normal.
It sees all the way around itself.
The Unitree 4D LiDAR L2 scans 360° by 96°, so there is no blind spot behind the robot and no narrow cone it has to be pointed at. The Go2 Pro builds a live map of the room or the trail as it moves, avoids what appears in front of it and keeps walking instead of stopping to think.
Rocks, kerbs, stairs, slopes.
Twelve aluminium alloy joint motors put real torque at every hip, thigh and knee. The Go2 Pro handles slopes to about 40° and steps around 16 cm (6.3 in), and it recovers its own footing on loose ground like river rock where a wheeled robot simply stops.
Built for the trail, the classroom and the show floor.
The Go2 Pro is the prosumer member of the Go2 family: about 15 kg (33 lb) on twelve joint motors, carrying roughly 8 kg (18 lb), with 4D LiDAR L2 perception and side-follow that works without anyone holding a controller.
Athletics, not animation.
Handstands, jumps and recovery from a fall are running on the same twelve joints you use to walk it down a hallway. It is the clearest demonstration of what the joint motors and balance controller are doing, and it is the reason a Go2 holds a room at an event.
It follows you without being driven.
The Intelligent Side-follow System keeps the Go2 Pro alongside you rather than trailing behind, choosing its own line around obstacles while it goes. You walk, it keeps up, and nobody has to stand there holding a controller the whole time.

Everything runs from your phone.
The Unitree Go app carries control, graphical programming, photo and video capture from the front camera, and intelligent OTA updates that add skills to a robot you already own. Built-in 4G image transmission means you are not tied to local Wi-Fi to see what it sees.
Dig Deeper
Perception and Intelligence
- Unitree 4D LiDAR L2 scanning 360° by 96°, ultra-wide-angle with a very small blind spot.
- Intelligent obstacle avoidance that keeps the robot moving rather than halting at every obstruction.
- Intelligent Side-follow System (ISS 2.0), so it tracks alongside you and picks its own path.
- Front camera with photo and video capture straight from the app, 1280 x 720 image transmission.
- Voice interaction and intelligent OTA updates, which means the robot gains skills after you buy it.
Movement and Terrain
- 12 degrees of freedom on precision aluminium alloy joint motors.
- 0 to 3.5 m/s (0 to 7.8 mph) on flat ground.
- Roughly 8 kg (18 lb) payload, with a maximum around 10 kg (22 lb).
- Slopes to about 40° and steps around 16 cm (6.3 in).
- 70 x 31 x 40 cm (27.6 x 12.2 x 15.7 in) standing at about 15 kg (33 lb), so one person carries it.
Power, Connectivity and Honest Limits
- 8,000 mAh swappable intelligent battery giving roughly 1 to 2 hours. Order a spare if you are running a full day.
- Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth and built-in 4G image transmission for remote operation beyond local network range.
- Rated 5°C to 35°C (41°F to 95°F), and it is not waterproof or dustproof. This is a dry-conditions machine.
- Recommended for ages 14 and up.
- For wash-down, rain, dust or sub-freezing work, the industrial A2 is the correct machine, not a Go2.

FAQs
Is the Go2 Pro authorized for use in the US?
Yes. It is covered by Unitree's US equipment authorization under grantee YuShu Technology Co., Ltd., FCC ID 2A5PE-YUSHU006, verifiable at apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas. FCC equipment authorization is separate from NDAA procurement eligibility, so if you are buying under a federal procurement rule, check that separately with us first.
How long does it run on a charge?
About 1 to 2 hours on the 8,000 mAh swappable intelligent battery. The battery changes out in seconds, so most owners running demonstrations or a full teaching day simply buy a second pack.
How is the Go2 Pro different from the Go2 X and the Go2 Edu?
The Pro tops out at 3.5 m/s (7.8 mph) on an 8,000 mAh battery and is driven through the Unitree Go app. The X is faster at 3.7 m/s (8.3 mph) with a higher ceiling. The Edu adds a 15,000 mAh battery for 2 to 4 hours and the developer SDK, which is the real reason to buy it.
How much can it carry?
Roughly 8 kg (18 lb) as a working payload, with a maximum around 10 kg (22 lb). That is enough for a small sensor, a camera or a demonstration payload, but the Go2 is not a load carrier.
Can I use it outside in the rain?
No. The Go2 Pro is not waterproof or dustproof and is rated 5°C to 35°C (41°F to 95°F). It is happy on gravel, grass, stairs and trails in dry conditions. For wet, dusty or freezing environments you want the industrial A2 instead, and we will tell you that rather than sell you the wrong robot.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. We work with school districts, universities and public agencies regularly and accept purchase orders and tax-exempt purchasing. Tell us what your procurement office needs and we will format the quote to match.
