Unitree G1 Edu Ultimate Humanoid Robot
The Unitree G1 Edu Ultimate is the highest-specification G1 research platform. It combines the enhanced articulation of the upper Edu tiers with the widest choice of end effectors Unitree offers, reaching 43 degrees of freedom in the Dex3-1 configurations. Where the Edu Pro is aimed at labs studying one manipulation approach, the Ultimate is for programs that need maximum articulation and the freedom to match the hand to the research question.

FAQs
Is this configuration authorized for use in the US?
Yes. The G1 family is covered by Unitree's US equipment authorization under grantee YuShu Technology Co., Ltd., FCC ID 2A5PE-YUSHU008, verifiable at apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas. FCC equipment authorization is separate from NDAA procurement eligibility, so if you are buying under a federal procurement rule, check that with us separately before you order.
How long does it run on a charge?
About 2 hours on the 9,000 mAh quick-release smart battery. The pack changes out without tools, so teams running a full day usually buy a second one.
How is the Edu Ultimate different from the Edu Pro?
Same hand families, higher articulation. The Edu Pro runs 27 to 37 joint degrees of freedom, the Ultimate runs 33 to 43, and the Ultimate adds the Inspire five-finger options that the Pro does not carry. If your work is contact-rich manipulation or tactile sensing research, the Ultimate is the tier with the headroom.
Which configuration should I pick?
Dex3-1 in Ultimate A and B gives force-controlled three-finger grasping at the full 43 degrees of freedom. Inspire in Ultimate C and D and BrainCo Revo 2 in Ultimate E and F give anthropomorphic five-finger hands at 41. Ultimate G on tendon-cable manipulators is the lightest and least expensive entry into the tier. Tell us the research question and we will map configurations to it.
Can I run it outdoors or in a dusty space?
It is rated 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F) and it is not waterproof or dustproof. Dry pavement and indoor floors are fine. Rain, wash-down areas and dusty industrial sites are not, and we would rather tell you that now than replace a robot later.
Do you accept purchase orders and tax-exempt purchasing?
Yes. We work with universities, school districts and public agencies regularly and accept purchase orders and tax-exempt purchasing. Tell us what your procurement office needs on the paperwork and we will format the quote to match.
