Unitree G1 Edu Pro Humanoid Robot
The Unitree G1 Edu Pro is where the G1 Edu line moves from locomotion research into serious manipulation. Every Pro configuration ships with real end effectors rather than dummy hands, and the choice between them is fundamentally a choice about what your lab is studying: force-controlled 3-finger grasping, anthropomorphic 5-finger manipulation, tactile feedback, or lightweight tendon-driven actuation. All five run the same 100 TOPS secondary development platform.

Five hand configurations, one research platform.
Every Edu Pro ships with real end effectors rather than dummy hands, from 27 to 37 joint degrees of freedom. Choosing between them is really choosing what your lab studies: force-controlled three-finger grasping, anthropomorphic five-finger manipulation, tactile feedback, or lightweight tendon-driven actuation. All five run the same 100 TOPS secondary development platform.

FAQs
Is this configuration authorized for use in the US?
Yes. The G1 family is covered by Unitree's US equipment authorization under grantee YuShu Technology Co., Ltd., FCC ID 2A5PE-YUSHU008, verifiable at apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas. FCC equipment authorization is separate from NDAA procurement eligibility, so if you are buying under a federal procurement rule, check that with us separately before you order.
How long does it run on a charge?
About 2 hours on the 9,000 mAh quick-release smart battery. The pack changes out without tools, so teams running a full day usually buy a second one.
How is the Edu Pro different from the Edu Plus and the Edu Ultimate?
The Edu Plus is 29 degrees of freedom on dummy hands. The Edu Pro adds real end effectors and runs 27 to 37 degrees of freedom across five configurations. The Edu Ultimate covers the same hand families at higher articulation, 33 to 43 degrees of freedom, and adds the Inspire five-finger options.
Which hand configuration should I pick?
If you are studying force-controlled grasping, the Dex3-1 configurations (Pro A and Pro B) are the ones to look at, and Pro B adds tactile sensing. If you need an anthropomorphic five-finger hand, that is the BrainCo Revo 2 in Pro E and Pro F. Pro G with tendon-cable manipulators is the lightest and the least expensive. Tell us the research question and we will map it.
Can I run it outdoors or in a dusty space?
It is rated 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F) and it is not waterproof or dustproof. Dry pavement and indoor floors are fine. Rain, wash-down areas and dusty industrial sites are not, and we would rather tell you that now than replace a robot later.
Do you accept purchase orders and tax-exempt purchasing?
Yes. We work with universities, school districts and public agencies regularly and accept purchase orders and tax-exempt purchasing. Tell us what your procurement office needs on the paperwork and we will format the quote to match.
