AgiBot Robotics
AgiBot X2 Humanoid Robot
The X2 is AgiBot's half-size humanoid, and the two configurations are aimed at genuinely different buyers. The X2 is the performer: 25 degrees of freedom, 20+ preset motions, over 30 facial expression animations, and a flexible-material shell that makes it safe to put in front of a crowd. It runs on RK3588 silicon and is built for cost-performance in entertainment, brand activations, and commercial events.
The X2 Ultra is the working machine. It adds five more degrees of freedom (30 total, 7 per arm), a full perception stack with LiDAR, binocular RGB, RGBD and rear cameras, and an NVIDIA Orin NX 16 GB compute module. That combination is what allows it to map a space once and then navigate it autonomously, avoid moving obstacles, greet visitors by face, and answer questions from a knowledge base. If your robot needs to do a job in a building rather than a routine on a stage, the Ultra is the one.
Choosing a Configuration
| Configuration | Total DoF | Perception | Compute | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AgiBot X2 | 25 (5 per arm) | Interactive RGB camera | RK3588 / RK3588S | $27,999 |
| AgiBot X2 Ultra | 30 (7 per arm) | LiDAR + binocular RGB + RGBD + rear camera | NVIDIA Orin NX 16 GB | $42,999 |
Configurations per the AgiBot partner sheet. The X2 REC data-acquisition build (40 kg / 88 lb, 30 DoF, wrist RGBD camera, VR teleoperation kit, Orin NX 16 GB) and the X2 EDU teaching build (130 cm / 4 ft 3 in, 29 DoF, supplied as components) are quoted by request rather than stocked.
Key Highlights
- Two-hour endurance on a 500 Wh pack, so a unit covers a full event shift or a retail floor block without a swap.
- 2 m/s (4.5 mph) walking speed with full-body motion transitions, including self-righting from lying down and sit-to-stand, so one operator can deploy it alone.
- 20+ preset motions plus LinkCraft zero-code motion training, which means staff can build routines without writing code.
- Proactive multimodal interaction with face, gesture and body-movement recognition, 30+ facial expression animations, and head-touch voice feedback.
- Multilingual voice interaction and knowledge-base Q&A, configurable per deployment through LinkSoul.
- Verified US equipment authorization under FCC ID 2BTPT-LX2501, covering both configurations.
- Fleet control for coordinated multi-robot performances from a single operator.
- A real performance repertoire, not just idle animations: dance routines, martial arts sequences and stunt performances ship as premium content, and the robot sings and recites as well as speaks.
- Custom skins and personas for IP and brand ambassador work, so the robot can wear your branding rather than ours.
- X2 Ultra adds autonomous navigation: single-pass mapping, dynamic and static obstacle avoidance, and an optional charging dock for automatic return-to-charge.
- X2 Ultra adds optional end effectors, dexterous hands or grippers, plus optional VR teleoperation for beyond-line-of-sight operation.

Built For
- Brand activations, trade show booths, and retail store openings that need a crowd magnet
- IP and brand ambassador programs where the robot is skinned and scripted to a campaign
- Museums, visitor centers, and exhibition halls needing a guide that greets, explains, and answers questions
- Theme parks, venues, and entertainment producers running choreographed multi-robot performances
- Retail and hospitality floors needing greeting, queue management, and customer guidance
- University labs and research groups working on humanoid locomotion, HRI, and embodied AI
- Media and content production that needs a humanoid on camera
Good to Know
- The X2 is a half-size humanoid at 131 cm (4 ft 4 in) and 35 to 39 kg (77 to 86 lb). It is not a heavy-lift machine: maximum end effector payload is 3 kg (6.6 lb).
- Two hours of endurance is realistic for continuous interactive use. Plan spare batteries for all-day deployments and budget for a charging dock on the Ultra.
- These are supervised machines. A trained operator should be present whenever the robot is working near the public.
- Autonomous navigation is an X2 Ultra capability. The base X2 is remote and app-driven, with preset and trained motion routines.
- Dexterous hands and grippers are optional end effectors on the Ultra. AgiBot's OmniHand range is quoted separately on request.
- Two further X Series builds exist. The X2 REC is a 40 kg (88 lb) data-acquisition configuration adding a wrist RGBD camera, OmniHand or OmniPicker end effectors and a VR teleoperation kit, on the same NVIDIA Orin NX 16 GB compute. The X2 EDU is a 29-DoF teaching build that ships as components for student assembly. Both are quoted by request rather than stocked; ask us and we will confirm current availability before you plan around either.
How Purchasing Works
The X2 and X2 Ultra are quoted per order rather than sold from a cart. Send us the configuration, quantity, and delivery location and we return a formal written quote, typically the same or next business day. We support purchase orders from schools, universities, government agencies, and enterprise buyers, and we accept tax-exempt purchasing with a valid certificate on file. Payment is by ACH or wire on quote acceptance.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does the AgiBot X2 cost?
The AgiBot X2 is $27,999 and the X2 Ultra is $42,999. Both are quoted per order, and multi-unit pricing is available for fleet deployments and coordinated performances.
Is the AgiBot X2 authorized for use in the US?
Yes. Both the X2 and X2 Ultra carry FCC ID 2BTPT-LX2501, granted before the FCC's 28 July 2026 rule change. You can verify it directly in the FCC's equipment authorization database at apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas. Note that FCC equipment authorization is separate from NDAA procurement eligibility, which is a different question for federally funded buyers.
What is the difference between the X2 and the X2 Ultra?
The Ultra has 30 degrees of freedom instead of 25, seven-DoF arms instead of five, a full LiDAR and multi-camera perception stack instead of a single interactive RGB camera, and an NVIDIA Orin NX 16 GB compute module instead of RK3588. In practice, the Ultra can navigate a building on its own and the base X2 cannot.
How long does the battery last?
Both configurations run about two hours on a 500 Wh pack. Spare batteries and, on the Ultra, an optional autonomous charging dock are available for continuous operation.
Can the X2 carry or manipulate objects?
Yes, within limits. Maximum end effector payload is 3 kg (6.6 lb). The X2 Ultra supports optional dexterous hands and grippers for manipulation work; the base X2 is oriented toward motion and interaction rather than handling.
Does it support programming and secondary development?
Yes. The X2 Ultra ships with open interfaces for secondary development. Both configurations work with LinkCraft for zero-code motion training and LinkSoul for interaction and persona customization, so non-programmers can build routines while developers can still go deeper.
Can it speak languages other than English?
Yes. The X2 supports multilingual voice interaction, and voice, wake word, and persona are configurable per deployment.
Can multiple robots perform together?
Yes. The fleet control toolchain supports coordinated performance across multiple units, so one operator can run a group routine.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. We regularly work with school districts, universities, municipalities, and enterprise procurement teams, and we accept POs and tax-exempt purchasing with a valid certificate.
What is the lead time?
Lead time is confirmed on your written quote, since it depends on configuration and current production. Ask us before you build a schedule around a delivery date.
Is there US warranty support?
Yes. Units are sourced through AgiBot's authorized US distribution and carry US-based warranty and repair, so you are not shipping a robot overseas for service.
