Why the H2 Stands Out

The Unitree H2 is Unitree's full-size humanoid: 1.82 m tall and approximately 70 kg, with 31 degrees of freedom, a bionic head, and high-torque joints. It brings human-scale presence, reach, and dynamics without the research-tier loadout of the H2 Edu.

Watch Unitree's official introduction to the H2, its full-size humanoid platform.

Human-Scale Presence.

At 1.82 m tall and approximately 70 kg, the H2 walks with a smooth, human-like gait, bringing full-size reach and presence to spaces built for people.

High-Torque Power.

High-torque joints deliver up to 360 N-m at the leg and 120 N-m at the arm peak, driving explosive, impact-stable movement through punches and kicks.

Expressive Motion.

Thirty-one degrees of freedom, seven in each arm with a 3-DoF waist and a 2-DoF bionic head, give the H2 fluid, full-body coordination and lifelike expression.

FAQs

What's included with the Unitree H2, and what costs extra?

Every H2 ships as a complete standard-configuration robot: the humanoid with its battery and charger, a remote controller, the wheeled protective stand used for startup and shutdown, plus calibration fixtures, lanyard, foot airbags, tools, and a packaging case. The $40,900 price is for this standard build with an Intel Core i5 onboard PC. Development compute (the i7 development PC and optional NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor) and dexterous hands are not part of the standard H2 and belong to the H2 Edu configuration.

What is the lead time to ship a Unitree H2?

It depends on configuration and factory availability. In-stock units ship quickly from within the United States, while factory-configured builds take longer. Because the H2 is a 70 kg full-size robot, it ships freight in its packaging case; we confirm the current lead time when you order or request a quote, then keep you updated through delivery.

What warranty and service does the H2 come with in the US?

A 12-month manufacturer warranty is standard, serviced through Unitree's authorized US distribution with US-based repair, so a 70 kg robot never has to be shipped overseas for service. That also means English documentation and firmware support rather than gray-market guesswork. Extended coverage is available, so ask with your quote.

Can universities and government buyers purchase the H2 with a purchase order?

Yes. We support university, government, and enterprise procurement teams with formal quotes, vendor registration, W-9s, and purchase orders for verified institutions. We align to your paperwork and terms so the H2 moves through procurement cleanly.

Does the standard H2 support SDK access and secondary development?

Secondary development, the Intel i7 development PC, the optional Jetson AGX Thor module, and dexterous hand options belong to the H2 Edu configuration, not the standard H2. The standard H2 is the entry point for human-scale presence and dynamics; if you need the full development stack and programmability, quote the H2 Edu instead.

What space and safety setup does an H2 need in a facility?

The H2 is a full-size research platform for operators 18 and up. It powers on and off while suspended from the included wheeled protective stand, and startup takes about two minutes, so plan a clear, dry indoor operating area with floor space for the stand and packaging case. It is rated for 0 to 40 degrees C and is not waterproof or dustproof.

Is the Unitree H2 NDAA compliant?

No. Unitree is a Chinese manufacturer, so the H2 is not NDAA compliant and is not intended for federal programs that require NDAA-compliant hardware. This does not affect most university research labs, commercial buyers, and private organizations. If compliance is a hard requirement for your program, tell us up front so we can advise before you order.

Should I choose the H2, the H2 Edu, or the G1?

Choose the standard H2 ($40,900) when you want full-size, human-scale presence, reach, and dynamics at the lowest entry point. Step up to the H2 Edu ($68,900) when you need secondary development, the i7 development PC, optional Jetson AGX Thor compute, and dexterous hands for research and development. Consider the G1 ($21,600) if a compact 1.32 m, 23-DoF humanoid is a better fit for your space and budget.

What are the H2's payload, torque, and runtime numbers?

The H2 stands 1.82 m tall at approximately 70 kg with 31 degrees of freedom. High-torque joints reach up to 360 N-m at the leg and 120 N-m at the arm peak, and each arm is rated for roughly 7 kg (about 15 kg peak). A swappable 15 Ah (0.97 kWh) battery delivers approximately 3 hours of runtime, and spare batteries let you keep sessions running back to back.

What is the Unitree H2 used for?

The H2 suits research into full-size bipedal locomotion and whole-body control, human-robot interaction studies that benefit from its bionic head and expressive motion, and demonstrations, events, and exhibitions where human-scale presence matters. Its binocular camera, array microphone, and high-power speaker also make it a platform for perception and interaction work. Teams that need programmable development access at this scale should look at the H2 Edu.
