Why the G1 Pro Stands Out
The Unitree G1 Pro is the step-up configuration of the G1 humanoid platform, keeping the same highly dynamic bipedal design at 1.32 m and about 35 kg while adding more headroom for compute, perception, and manipulation work. It folds compact enough to carry, with a clear upgrade path as your program grows.
See the G1 Pro in Action
Watch Unitree's official introduction to the G1, the humanoid platform the G1 Pro builds on.

Martial-Arts Agile.
Trained with large-scale AI, the G1 platform behind the G1 Pro pulls off highly dynamic, martial-arts-style moves with impact-stable balancing, staying on its feet through disturbances that would topple a rigid biped.

Beyond the Demo.
The Pro configuration is built for applied work, not just showcases. With its full 23 degrees of freedom, 3D LiDAR, and depth sensing, the 1.32 m G1 Pro is ready for real deployments across research, industry, and public spaces.

Lifelike Motion.
Dual-encoder joints with hollow electrical routing drive a smooth, human-like gait, so the G1 Pro moves with lifelike fluidity through dance, gesture, and expressive motion.

Room to Grow.
The G1 Pro is the step-up configuration over the standard G1, with a quick-release battery good for about two hours and an upgrade path toward dexterous hands, grippers, added LiDAR, and compute. Need the full SDK and Jetson Orin? Step up to the G1 Edu.

FAQs
What comes with the Unitree G1 Pro, and what is quoted separately?
Each G1 Pro ships with the humanoid robot, its quick-release battery and charger, and user documentation. Accessories such as spare batteries, the remote controller, MID360 LiDAR, and the depth camera are quoted separately, so tell us your configuration and we will build a complete quote. The Pro is the step-up configuration over the standard G1, with headroom to add dexterous hands, grippers, LiDAR, and compute later.
How long does the G1 Pro take to ship?
Lead time depends on configuration and factory availability. Units already in stock leave quickly, while factory-configured builds take more time. We confirm the current lead time when you order or request a quote and stay in touch through delivery.
What warranty and service come with the G1 Pro, and why buy through an authorized US reseller?
A 12-month manufacturer warranty is included and serviced through Unitree's authorized US distribution, so repairs are handled in the US rather than shipped overseas. Imported gray-market units often carry no US warranty and can lack English documentation or firmware support. Extended coverage can be added; mention it when you request a quote.
How long does the G1 Pro run on a battery, and can I add spares?
The G1 Pro uses a quick-release battery pack rated for about two hours of runtime, and swapping packs keeps sessions going with minimal downtime. Spare batteries and a charger are quoted separately, so let us know how many you want with your order. Planning two or more packs is common for demo days and longer development sessions.
Does the G1 Pro include the full development SDK?
SDK access depends on configuration. The G1 Pro is a step-up development platform with an upgrade path toward added compute and manipulation, but if full secondary development and onboard NVIDIA Jetson Orin compute are your priority, the G1 Edu Standard is the research-grade tier. Ask us to compare the two against your project before you buy.
How do I choose between the Unitree G1, G1 Pro, and G1 Edu?
The standard G1 is the lower-cost entry point for demos and early labs, the G1 Pro is the step-up configuration with more headroom for compute, perception, and manipulation, and the G1 Edu Standard adds the full SDK and Jetson Orin compute for serious research. Data-collection teams should also look at the G1-D Data Acquisition Series. Tell us your use case and budget and we will point you to the right tier.
Is the Unitree G1 Pro NDAA compliant?
No. Unitree is a Chinese manufacturer, so the G1 Pro is not NDAA compliant and is not suited to buyers who carry a federal NDAA restriction. Most universities, commercial labs, and research teams are unaffected by that rule. If you are unsure whether it applies to your funding source, ask us before ordering.
Can a university or government agency buy the G1 Pro on a purchase order?
Yes. We handle university, government, and enterprise procurement regularly, including formal quotes, vendor registration, W-9 paperwork, and purchase orders for verified institutions. Contact us for a formal quote and we will match your buying process.
What safety and setup does the G1 Pro require?
Like all humanoid research platforms, the G1 Pro is intended for operators 18 and up and for indoor, dry-condition use. Unitree recommends a protective frame and suspension rope for startup and extended standing. Run it in a clear indoor space with protective support during early development while your team builds experience.
What can the G1 Pro actually do, and how agile is it?
The G1 Pro is an approximately 1.32 m, 35 kg bipedal humanoid with highly dynamic, impact-stable locomotion and 23 degrees of freedom for fluid, full-body motion. Teams use it for applied development, manipulation research, demonstrations, and human-robot interaction work. It folds compact enough to carry between labs and events.
