Good to Know
For operators 18 and up. Unitree recommends a protective frame and suspension rope for startup and extended standing, and the G1 Pro is designed for indoor and dry-condition use. Keep it in a clear indoor space with protective support during early development while your team gains experience.

The step up from the entry G1.
Same 1.32 m (4 ft 4 in) body, same 23 joint degrees of freedom, same LIVOX MID360 3D LiDAR and Intel RealSense D435i depth camera. The Pro is the configuration for teams that want headroom for added perception, compute and manipulation later rather than buying the entry unit and hitting a wall. Unitree does not publish a separate parameter table for the Pro, so ask us for the exact build sheet before you order.

Body and Joints
- 1320 x 450 x 200 mm (52 x 17.7 x 7.9 in) standing, folding to 690 x 450 x 300 mm (27.2 x 17.7 x 11.8 in).
- About 35 kg (77 lb) with the battery fitted.
- Industrial crossed roller bearings, dual encoders and full hollow electrical routing at every joint.
- Joint range: waist Z±155°, knee 0° to 165°, hip P±154° / R -30° to +170° / Y±158°.
- Arm span about 0.45 m (17.7 in), with 0.6 m (23.6 in) of calf and thigh length.
- 23 degrees of freedom: 6 per leg, 5 per arm and 1 at the waist.
Perception, Compute and Audio
- LIVOX MID360 3D LiDAR and an Intel RealSense D435i depth camera, both standard.
- 8-core high-performance CPU onboard.
- Four-microphone array with noise cancellation and echo cancellation, plus a 5 W stereo speaker.
- Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, with intelligent OTA upgrades.
- Upgrade path to dexterous hands, grippers, added LiDAR and expansion compute.
- Secondary development is an Edu feature. If your team needs the SDK, buy a G1 Edu rather than a Pro.
Power, Environment and Honest Limits
- 9,000 mAh quick-release smart battery giving about 2 hours. Order a spare if you are running a full day.
- 54 V 5 A charger and a manual controller ship with the robot.
- Rated 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F) and not waterproof or dustproof. Indoor and dry conditions.
- About 2 kg (4.4 lb) per arm, and Unitree notes arm load varies considerably with how far the arm is extended.
- Operators 18 and up. Unitree recommends a protective frame and suspension rope during startup and extended standing.
- 8 month warranty period per Unitree, handled in the US through Toborlife.
Compare the G1 Lineup
The same 1.32 m (4 ft 4 in) body across all three. What changes is how much headroom you get and whether the SDK and NVIDIA Jetson Orin compute are unlocked.

FAQs
Is this configuration authorized for use in the US?
Yes. The G1 family is covered by Unitree's US equipment authorization under grantee YuShu Technology Co., Ltd., FCC ID 2A5PE-YUSHU008, verifiable at apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas. FCC equipment authorization is separate from NDAA procurement eligibility, so if you are buying under a federal procurement rule, check that with us separately before you order.
How long does it run on a charge?
About 2 hours on the 9,000 mAh quick-release smart battery. The pack changes out without tools, so teams running a full day usually buy a second one.
How is the G1 Pro different from the standard G1 and the G1 Edu Standard?
The Pro sits between them. It is the same mechanical platform as the standard G1 with more headroom for perception, compute and manipulation work. The G1 Edu Standard is the one that unlocks the full SDK and secondary development and adds NVIDIA Jetson Orin compute with an expansion path to 43 degrees of freedom. If your project needs low-level control, go to the Edu.
How much can the arms carry, and what can I add later?
About 2 kg (4.4 lb) per arm with an arm span of roughly 0.45 m (17.7 in). The G1 accessory range covers dexterous hands, grippers, added LiDAR and expansion compute modules, so the platform can grow with the program.
Can I run it outdoors or in a dusty space?
It is rated 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F) and it is not waterproof or dustproof. Dry pavement and indoor floors are fine. Rain, wash-down areas and dusty industrial sites are not, and we would rather tell you that now than replace a robot later.
Do you accept purchase orders and tax-exempt purchasing?
Yes. We work with universities, school districts and public agencies regularly and accept purchase orders and tax-exempt purchasing. Tell us what your procurement office needs on the paperwork and we will format the quote to match.
