The Fisherman FD3 is SwellPro’s easiest-to-use waterproof fishing drone, equipped with a camera and bait release. It combines several advantages from its predecessors: the power efficiency of the FD1, the ease of use of the SD4, and the enhanced reliability of the Max. The FD3 opens new possibilities for shore-based anglers, allowing them to cast baits far beyond the breaking waves and quickly catch trophy fish.

4.4 Lbs Bait Capacity:
The Fisherman FD3 can safely fly while carrying baits of up to 4.4 lbs (2.0 kg) into the ocean. To maximize reliability, efficiency, and a high power-to-payload ratio, the FD3 utilizes a high-voltage 6S battery, high-thrust brushless motors, and high-speed ESCs.
.8 Mile Drone-Casting Range:
The Fisherman FD3 can operate at a range of up to 1.3 km (0.8 miles). This allows land-based anglers to easily drop baits beyond the breakers or in inaccessible locations where more game fish species are abundant.
Multi-hook fishing:
The Fisherman FD3 elevates fishing yield to unprecedented heights. Anglers can attach more than 10 hooks, baits, or lures to a single fishing line and deploy them at different depths, significantly increasing the chances of catching multiple fish or different species simultaneously.
4K Fishing Camera (advanced):
The advanced version of the Fisherman Max features a remote controller with a built-in 5” multi-color LCD display, providing instant 720P footage of the drone. The screen also shows vital aircraft status information, including GPS coordinates, altitude, battery voltage, and more. With voice prompts to alert you to potential risks, you can maintain full control of the drone without needing to use your phone.
Professional anglers can use the Fisherman Max’s footage to read waves and tides, identifying structures such as sandbars, troughs, drop-offs, and channels. By dropping baits where fish are congregating, you can significantly increase your chances of catching trophy fish. When the water is clear enough, the high-quality drone footage allows you to locate fish or schools of fish on the surface, saving you time and cost compared to using a boat. High Voltage Batteries:
FD3 is powered by a high-voltage LIHV 6S battery with the aim to increase the drone's lifting capacity. With high power-to-weight ratio, the FD1+'s flight battery enable the drone to carry heavy baits without sacrificing flight stability, and has enough thrust to operate in challenging conditions.
IP67 saltwater-proof and corrosion-free:
The FD3 aircraft is entirely sealed, then air-pressure and dunk tested to guarantee 100% waterproof performance. Made from marine-grade ABS, the fuselage is designed to enhance strength and prevent distortion. Additionally, the waterproof motors, waterproof bait release, and internal electronics are coated with a corrosion-resistant layer, providing extra protection against the salty ocean air.
Slide-in Battery:
Swapping the battery is super easy. Open the hatch door, slide the battery into the compartment, hit the power button, and you're good to go! The hatch door is 100% waterproof with a rubber seal when closed.
Screw-on Propellers:
The threaded propeller mount allows for easy installation and ensures the propellers stay securely attached, even when the FD3 requires significant thrust from the fast-spinning motors.
40 MPH Wind Resistance:
Thanks to the strong propulsion system and GPS 9.0, the FD3 can maintain a stable position and attitude in winds up to 18 m/s (40 mph / 35 knots).
Self-floating Design & Automatic Flip:
The FD3 is designed with sufficient buoyancy to float when landing on water, allowing it to take off again easily. If the drone accidentally capsizes, you can use the joysticks to flip it back to its normal position and fly it back to shore.
The FDFly APP enables several autopilot features on the Fisherman Max, making it even easier for anglers with no piloting experience to fly baits to their desired locations:
