Why the Go2 Edu Stands Out
The Go2 Edu is the research-and-education build of the world's most widely deployed quadruped. Full SDK access, ROS support, low-level joint control, and optional NVIDIA Jetson Orin compute make it a proven, crash-tolerant platform for legged-locomotion and embodied-AI research.
See the Go2 Edu in Action
Watch Unitree's official introduction to the Go2, the quadruped platform of embodied AI.

See Everything. 4D LiDAR L2.
The Go2 Edu maps its surroundings in a 360 by 96 degree field with Unitree's 4D LiDAR L2, plus a front camera and depth sensing, the perception stack that SLAM, mapping, and navigation research runs on.

Full SDK. Full Control.
The Edu build unlocks full secondary development: the Unitree SDK, ROS and ROS2 support, and low-level joint control across all 12 motors, plus optional NVIDIA Jetson Orin compute up to 100 TOPS for onboard AI. Write your own code down to the motor.

Trained by AI.
Through large-scale AI training, the Go2 has mastered advanced gaits: handstands, roll-overs, and climbing over obstacles, with remarkable balance and stability.

One Platform. Endless Payloads.
Snap on what your research needs: NVIDIA Jetson Orin compute up to 100 TOPS, a depth camera, MID-360 or Hesai 3D LiDAR, or the D1 servo arm. Multiple Edu configurations are available to match your program.

FAQs
What is the typical lead time?
It depends on the configuration and factory availability. In-stock units go out quickly; factory-configured research builds take longer. We confirm the current lead time with your quote or order and keep your lab updated through delivery.
What warranty applies, and where is service done?
Every Go2 Edu includes a 12-month manufacturer warranty serviced through Unitree's authorized US distribution. Repairs are handled in the US, so your robot never has to ship overseas. Extended coverage is available on request.
Do you work with university purchasing and POs?
Yes, constantly. We support formal quotes, vendor registration, W-9s, and purchase orders for verified universities, government agencies, and enterprises, including multi-unit lab pricing.
Does the Go2 Edu include the SDK?
Yes. The Edu configuration unlocks full secondary development: SDK access, low-level joint control, and ROS support for perception, locomotion, and AI research. Optional NVIDIA Jetson Orin compute (40 to 100 TOPS) is available for onboard workloads.
Why buy through Global Drone HQ instead of importing directly?
Imported gray-market units come without US warranty support and frequently without English documentation or firmware support. Ours are sourced through Unitree's authorized US distribution with US-based service, and we support your program before and after the sale.
