CZI LP20 Speaker and Searchlight

The CZI LP20 is a compact, multi-function broadcasting and searchlight payload designed exclusively for the DJI Matrice 3D and Matrice 3TD series. In a single 200-gram unit, it integrates a 120 dB loudspeaker, a precision LED searchlight, integrated strobe lights, and a microphone, providing complete communication and situational awareness capability without stacking multiple payloads onto the aircraft.

The LP20's searchlight delivers 32 lux at 50 meters through a focused 13.5-degree field of view, maintaining effective illumination up to 100 meters. Its audio system projects voice clearly over 300 meters using live voice, text-to-speech, or pre-recorded playback, all controlled through DJI Pilot 2, FlightHub 2, or the CZI Assistant app. AI-assisted features including automatic spot tracking and AI-based light centering help reduce operator workload during active search and response missions.

With IP53 weather resistance, a minus 20 to plus 50 degrees Celsius operating range, and under 50W total power draw from the PSDK port, the LP20 adds serious operational depth to the Matrice 3D platform without external power requirements. The all-in-one design means fewer payload swaps and faster mission turnaround for agencies using the M3D as their primary responder drone.
