The CZI IR3 is a professional infrared zoom spotlight built exclusively for the DJI Matrice 30 series. Operating at 850nm wavelength, it delivers powerful near-infrared illumination that is invisible to the naked eye but clearly visible to night vision cameras and sensors, making it the ideal illumination payload for covert surveillance, border patrol, and nighttime search operations where visible light would compromise the mission.
The IR3's standout capability is its dynamic electric zoom, which adjusts the beam from a wide 70-degree search pattern to a focused 2-degree long-range beam in under 2 seconds. This allows operators to transition from wide-area scanning to precision spotlighting at over 800 meters without repositioning the aircraft. The 3-axis stabilized gimbal tracks targets across a pan range of plus or minus 90 degrees and tilt of -80 to +45 degrees, with full camera-gimbal linkage through DJI Pilot 2 for coordinated targeting.
Weighing only 240 grams, the CZI IR3 delivers capabilities no visible-light spotlight can match for NVG-assisted or thermal-camera operations. It is Class 3B certified (FDA and IEC) and purpose-built for the agencies that need true covert illumination from altitude.
