Featuring a 15.4MP Dual Sensitivity CMOS sensor, it captures stunning 5K footage at up to 96 fps with impressive shadow detail and natural color. With support for REDCODE RAW recording at data rates up to 300 MB/s, along with Apple ProRes and Avid DNx formats up to 4K, DSMC2 provides the flexibility to balance cinematic quality with efficient post-production workflows.
Built as a fully modular cinema system, the DSMC2 BRAIN allows you to customize your setup with interchangeable lens mounts, OLPFs, and a wide range of RED and third-party accessories. Features like wireless control, an integrated media bay, and cable-free peripheral support make it adaptable for any production environment. Please note that the DSMC2 BRAIN requires additional components—including a power module or expander, battery, media, and display—to function as a complete system. This package includes the DSMC2 BRAIN with selected sensor, front body cap, S35 standard OLPF, AC power adapter, and a 2-year standard warranty.
