The DSMC2 Base Expander is a compact, low-profile I/O module designed to expand the connectivity and functionality of your DSMC2 camera system. Built from lightweight and durable magnesium, it mounts directly to the DSMC2 BRAIN and provides essential interface connections including DC power input, HDMI, 3G-SDI, CTRL, and SYNC ports for timecode and genlock, along with 3.5mm microphone and headphone inputs for on-set audio monitoring.
Designed for flexibility in professional workflows, the Base Expander also supports rear mounting of compatible battery and power modules, helping streamline your rig while maintaining a clean, balanced setup. Ideal for run-and-gun and independent shooters, it delivers the core connectivity needed for efficient production. Please note that only one expander module can be used at a time.
